Duffy’s Big Day: A Sunny First Day of School!
Today was a very special day for Duffy the little duck. The sun was shining, and for the first time ever, Duffy was heading to school! With a bright yellow backpack and a happy heart, Duffy couldn't wait to see what awaited at Acorn Academy.
The Journey to School
As Duffy waddled down the path, the flowers seemed to dance in the breeze. Duffy was so excited that a little song started to bubble up: ♪ Tra-la-la! School, school, my favorite school! ♪
Along the way, Duffy met a fox and a bear who were also heading to class. It felt so good to have friends to walk with!
A Warm Welcome
When Duffy arrived at Acorn Academy, the school looked even bigger and grander than imagined. Mrs. Hoot, the wise and kind owl teacher, was waiting at the door with a big smile. "Welcome, Duffy! We’re so glad you’re here!" she said warmly. Duffy felt right at home immediately.
Making Friends and Learning Together
The day was filled with magic:
Art Time: Duffy sat with a bunny and a hedgehog, painting colorful pictures together.
Circle Time: Mrs. Hoot led a joyful morning song, and everyone clapped along: ♪ Hello, hello, nice to see you all today! ♪
Lunch Time: Sitting at the picnic table with new friends, Duffy realized that school was the best place to make memories.
Coming Home
When the final bell rang, Duffy ran straight to Mama Duck. "Mama! Mama! I sang a song, made friends, and learned so much! It was amazing!"
Mama Duck gave Duffy a big, proud hug. "I’m so proud of you, my little duck!"
Duffy went to bed that night already dreaming about what tomorrow’s lessons would bring. School, it turns out, is the best adventure of all!
